Growth Rings 3/29/12 Progress

I took a pretty long Ink Circles break, but I am back now.  I recently picked up Growth Rings.  It's been on my todo list for a very long time.  So here's my progress for the month of March (and about 50 stitches from February.)  I am using a hand dyed linen from a grab bag from Hand Dyed Fibers, and the floss is Summer & Smoke(the inside color) and Arctic Ice (the outside color) by Gloriana.

I Still Do as of 27th March 2012

This is my second post, the first being my introduction.  So this is the secret project I am working on that I haven't been able to share with anyone.  It is for my parents 40th wedding anniversary in August 2013.  I am stitching on 22 count white hardanger, 3 over 1 tent stitch.  I've changed the colours from reds to blues and purples, here are my progress pictures so far.

Introducing Myself

Hi my name is Nic and I love to cross stitch.  I have my own blog at where I post pictures of my WIPs.

However I am currently working on a secret project for my parents 40th Wedding Anniversary.  I am stitching I Still Do for them but I have changed the colours from reds to blues and purples.  I am looking forward to being able to share my progress on this.  I've currently done just over 15% but I have until August 2013 to complete it.

I can't access my pictures at the moment but as soon as I can I will post again with my progress.

Thanks for having me here :-)

A little Metamorphosis

I finally pulled Metamorphosis out and let it see the light of day, and I managed to finish the first motif!

This is stitched on 32 ct Hermitage lugana, 2 over 2, using the recommended GAST threads (this one is done in Grape Arbor).
