Ink Circle Stitchers

Ladies I was thinking of having a small contest to run all through 2010, with the winner getting to choose an Ink circles design of their choice.
Here is where I would like your input, what would you prefer a monthly post contest, where you show your progress? or maybe Based on Ink circle finishes, and I mean the larger designs not the freebies.
Any ideas welcome, if you would be interested in such a thing to encourage you to dust off your project and get stitching, even if you think it is a bad idea, I would like your opinions.
Thank you

Cirque des Triangles
I've not worked on this for a while as I've had a bit of a stitching lull...again , but I did pick this up a couple of weeks ago and was enjoying it so much I just carried on and on until I had completed the top half of the chart.
Here is how it's looking now.
I've done quite a bit of stitching on my other projects and will be updating my blog in a few days so come over and take a peek.

another update on BFG
Friday night I drove about just over an hour to a new stitching friend's house. I took other projects, but only worked on Blackstone Fantasy.
I forgot to take a pic before I left, but here is where I was before I went to bed Sunday night.

Update of BFG
Sorry for the delay in posting... I had a week on holidays and then was sick for a week.
I have made really great progress on my BFG. I have finished filling in the green and am half way done filling in the brown.
Hope to have a pic after this weekend.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Cirque des Triangles
I seem to be amongst those who have done hardly any stitching lately but over the last few weeks I seem to have got myself back on track. After seeing Rachael's progress on her CDT after stitching a few of the outlines on page one I decided to complete the outline in the centre but I seem to have got a little carried away and have finished ALL of the outline of the full chart as well as fully completing page one! .
Here are a few pics of my progress.
Page one
...the total chart
It was quite a relief when everything fitted into place and there was no more "frogging" to be done. I'm hoping to be able to pick this up and complete a triangle or two at a time and as I enjoy stitching this so much I'm sure it will grow really quickly.
I look forward to seeing more of your updates soon.

A finish! Blackstone Fantasy Garden
I have been pushing for the last couple of weeks to finish this. I put everything but smalls and some other quick crafting projects to the side. It finally paid off! All links are clickable.

This is stitched on 28ct Cashel Linen in Fairydust with the recommended Carrie's Creations threads.
CdCx will be my next focus piece although I may flitter around a bit again. I am just not a one at a time type girl. It also means that I have an extra project bag that is empty! You know what that means?? New start!! Woohoo!

BFG and CdCx progress
Here's the latest progress of my Cirque des Carreaux. It's moving right along, but I'll be setting it aside for a while.

Hand Dyed Fibers in Jewelweed 3169 and Yawning Mountain
Here is my Blackstone Fantasy Garden. I have decided that this has been a WiP long enough and I will finish it before the year is over. I started it in January of 2007. I love it and it's an easy stitch, I just keep starting other stuff.

Carrie's Creations floss pack
So, get your cheerleader outfits on and cheer me on to the end of my BFG. :) And smack my hand if I start working on another else other than obligation pieces!

Cirque des Triangles
After my disaster with CdT I knew that I would have to restart this as soon as possible or else it would have been put aside forever. It took me just two days to unpick and I restarted this on Monday and I've decided to do the outlines of the triangles first rather than fill them in one by one and have managed to complete pages 1,2 and 3 :)
Here is a pic of my new start
My sister Sandra has recently completed Cirque des Triangles and it the pic doesn't do it justice - it's gorgeous. Take a look here
Hope you are making good progress with your projects - lets see a few pics! Has anyone started the Bramble and the Rose yet? This is on my list and am keen to see what fabric and threads people are using for this design.

Cirque des Carreaux 6/18 update

Here's the next installment of my CdCx. It's stitched on 28ct Cashel linen in Meadow Mist. The threads are Jewelweed 3169 and Yawning Mountain by Hand Dyed Fibers. I am really enjoying this. It reminds me of how much fun I had doing CdC. I am setting it aside for a while to stitch on another project.

Cirque des Triangles
The weather here has been absolutely glorious lately and I have been trying to make the most of it while it lasts which unfortunately has left little time for stitching but I have managed to make a little progress on some of the projects I have ongoing at the moment. Yesterday I was in the garden getting sunburnt - today it is absolutely lashing down with rain - British Weather!!!
Here's the latest update on my CDT, not a lot I know but every little helps :)
As it looks like I'm stuck indoors today I'm going to have a quiet afternoon catching up with my stitching :) I look forward to seeing more of your progress soon.

Started CdCx and BFG update
I hardly worked on Tanglewood this last week or two, so there's no update picture. All I did was fill in a very small branch at the top of the design.
I did get quite a bit done on my BFG though. I really need to just buckle down and finish it. It's acutally been a wip since 2007. Here is my current update on Blackstone Fantasy Garden. It's stitched on 28 ct linen in Fairydust with the recommended Carrie's Creations threads.
I also started CdCx a couple of nights ago. I havent had much time to stitch on it. It's stitched on 28ct cashel linen in Meadow Mist with Hand Dyed Fibers in Jewelweed 3169 for the main color and Yawning Mountain for the secondary color.
